Progressive-liberals have seemingly laid out a plan to completely disrupt the entire foundation of the United States. Members of the Democrat Party have attacked every representation of America’s Founding Principles, ranging from the Declaration of Independence to statues and important monuments throughout the country. Even the statue of Christopher Columbus in New York City is the target of attacks from individuals who want the monument toppled and destroyed. However, it has now taken another turn, with progressive-liberals publicly attacking the Pledge of Allegiance. But to what are we pledging our allegiance to, when we place our right hand over our hearts.
To be clear, when reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, there is no bigotry within the text. It straight out points “...to the Republic for which it stands, One Nation Under God...”
This means that as “One People...who have dissolved the Political bands which have connected” [us] with other countries that are destructive to [our] life, liberty or property, we “assume among the powers of the earth the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle” [us].
This is what We The People of the United States “Pledge our lives, our fortunes and our Sacred honor” to—as already described in the Declaration of Independence.
Despite all of this, liberals are saying there are racist connotations behind these words and, due to this, the pledge either needs to be changed or scraped altogether.
